Meet Kimberly Washington, a seasoned family law attorney integral to Bryan Fagan, PLLC since 2015. Kimberly’s impressive client representation, unwavering determination, and natural leadership have elevated her to the role of Managing Senior Attorney. Leading a team of over 15 attorneys, she adeptly manages communication challenges among staff members. Beyond her managerial role, Kimberly provides comprehensive assistance to clients in diverse family law matters.

 

Kimberly is committed to educating and guiding parents, helping them protect their relationships with their children and make decisions in the long-term best interests of the child. She ensures her clients are well-informed about their rights within their families. As a mother, she deeply understands the parental desire to be present in their children’s lives and firmly believes in the equal importance of both parents in a child’s upbringing.

Kimberly also possesses extensive expertise in military family law, particularly in divorce cases, making her well-equipped to assist military personnel and their spouses in family law proceedings. Her knowledge extends to handling cases involving complex business matters within the context of divorce.

 

Balancing a career with parental responsibilities is a challenge that Kimberly understands intimately. As a married mother of two sons actively engaged in football, track, and basketball, she adeptly manages their practice and game schedules, actively participating as a “team mom.” This commitment means that many evenings and weekends are dedicated to traveling and supporting her children’s sporting events. Alongside this, Kimberly places a strong emphasis on her children’s academic progress and finds joy in cooking for her family whenever their busy schedules permit.

  • Represented non-biological father in a divorce where her client and spouse had joint conservatorship of children in anticipation of adoption but got divorced prior to adopting. Also represented the client in subsequent custody matters involving the children’s biological parents and the non-biological mother, resulting in award of primary custody for her client.

  • Represented numerous clients in court-ordered mediation and court hearings in complex and high-conflict divorces.

  • Represented numerous clients in the completion of amicable and uncontested divorces involving community property distribution, spousal support, child support, child custody and visitation.
